Introduction to Pyrography

Have you always been interested in learning woodworking? Pyrography is a great way to start working with wood for beginners. Pyrography is also great for more experienced woodworkers or woodturners who would like to learn more about how to embellish your pieces. In this class students will learn how to create a small unique piece of wood burned art. You will learn how to draw a woodburning design and transfer your design, how to select and prepare ideal surfaces for woodburning, and how to select the right tools for your design. You will emerge from the class with a one of a kind design and great introduction to working with wood. All materials and tools, including safety goggles and glasses, are provided in the class. No previous woodworking experience needed!
